Hull, Keel, Construction

  • The characteristics of a SPORTS LUXURY CRUISER are: easy handling and sporty performance without compromising comfort and safety; achieved by a stable hull form, high ballast ratio and a well balanced rudder
  • The easy handling is a result of the SPORTS LUXURY CRUISER design which perfectly balances the relationship between hull shape, keel weight and sail area, providing maximum control in all conditions
  • As a result of the design, the deep single rudder is always in the water and always effective, enabling maximum control even when heeled in challenging conditions
  • The hull is hand laminated in controlled conditions using ISO/NPG resin in the first three layers and a sealing topcoat in the interior
  • Extra hull stability and is achieved by bonding a solid GRP frame into the hull
  • Laminated reinforcements under all deck fittings  
  • For extra safety a collision bulkhead is laminated into the bow
  • Rudder shaft and rudder core in solid stainless steel
  • Main bulkheads  laminated to hull and deck; The hull / deck joint is chemically bonded with a high strength acrylic adhesive
